Description

Job Summary:

  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Delivery of Monthly Routine Journals and ensure accuracy of Journals (description, amount, date, cost centre, etc.)
  • Delivery of Management Accounts (MA) Reports and assist in performing analysis
  • Fixed Assets Register Updates and Depreciation Calculation for Existing and New Assets
  • Preparation of next month's MA skeleton including formulae linkage of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and notes to Trial Balance
  • Delivery of Debtors & Creditors Aging Reports
  • Monthly closing stocks
  • Delivery of Debit Notes, Credit Notes and Tax Invoices
  • E-invoicing submission
  • Update of Monthly Fixed Deposits Schedules
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers and regulatory authority in relating to accounting and tax issues.
  • To supervise, guide, coach, and review the work of the Finance Executive or other junior personnel in the Operations Finance team, ensuring that departmental operations are carried out efficiently.
  • Assist the superior in overall accounting and financial functions such as taxation, cashflow management, budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Review and verify payments
  • Monitoring companies cash flow
  • Handle ad-hoc matters and projects assigned, as and when required.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Professional Accountancy (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent) or Partial Professional Accountancy
  • Accounting software & MS Office (Excel, Words and Power Point) skills.
  • Minimum 3 years' working experience in accounts or finance, preferably with audit and/or group consolidation experience..
  • Honest with pleasant personality.
  • Independent, good time management and multi-tasking.
  • Able to work under pressure and extra hours.
  • Able to meet deadlines at all time.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Good interpersonal skill and resourceful team player
