Description
  1. Communicate clinical objectives and expectations to staffs. 
  2. Supervises staffs in patient care. 
  3. Conduct competency assessment. 
  4. Assist with orientation of newly appointed staff. 
  5. Perform incidental teaching. 
  6. Gives regular feedback on staff assignment and performance as a basis for evaluation. Communicate and update Nursing Head of Department regularly. 
  7. Keeps accurate records on staffs’ performance. 
  8. Counsels and guides staffs to enhance their professional growth. 
  9. Accountable for the outcomes of staffs’ clinical practice and safety of patients. 
  10. Conduct CNE (Continuous Nursing Education) teaching as assigned. 
  11. Maintain strict confidentiality of any information during the course of duty. 
  12. Keep abreast with nursing knowledge in maintain professional growth and development. 
  13. Identify training needs and clinical practice gaps. 
  14. Develop and implement program accordingly to close clinical practice gaps.
  15. Develop and implement program to promote staff professional growth based on the identified training needs through CNE and CPD program. 
Requirements
  1. Degree in Nursing (Post Basic certification will be an added advantage)
  2. Minimum 8 years working experience as a Registered Nurse. 
  3. Minimum 2 years working experience as a Clinical Instructor. 
  4. Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board. 
  5. Possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC). 
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills. 
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  8. A self-starter with initiative and resourcefulness and an ability to work independently. 
  9. Able to interact with all levels of staff. 
  10. Effective trainer
