Responsible in developing and coordinating all patients' (inpatients, outpatients and health screening patients) nutritional care and related activities.
Maintaining or improving nutritional status of patients by assessing nutritional status, developing nutrition care plans and diet counselling in principle of nutrition.
To coordinate with other healthcare professionals as a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
Responsible in educating staffs, student nurses and the public on the current food and nutrition issues.
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Dietetics or Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Comprehensive knowledge and application of nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy.
Able to work independently, mature in thinking, pro-active and willing to take challenges.
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal to patients, public, staff and physicians, fluent in multi-language especially mandarin and including mother tongue is an added advantage.
Experience in healthcare industry & handling accreditation (e.g MSQH, ACHS) is an added advantage.
General knowledge of nutrient analysis
IT literate (good in Microsoft applications)
