Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara (“THKD”) is TMCLS’ flagship hospital. Established in 2008, it is located in a prime alcove of Kota Damansara, Selangor, and is easily accessible via all modes of transportation, including the Mass Rapid Transit (“MRT”) system.

THKD is a multidisciplinary tertiary care centre equipped with advanced medical technology and modern infrastructure to provide quality healthcare for both local and international patients. It houses over 150 consultant specialists with excellent track records in their respective medical disciplines, as well as over a thousand staff members who ensure smooth operations within the institution.

In October 2023, THKD attained organisation-wide accreditation from the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (“ACHS”) International for the Evaluation & Quality Improvement Program (“EQuIP”).

THKD has also made major strides in enhancing its medical facilities. In March 2023, it launched its latest comprehensive cancer facility, Oncology and Nuclear Medicine @ Thomson Hospital, which offers both diagnostic and therapeutic services for cancer patients. In May 2023, THKD became the first hospital in Malaysia to be accredited for its Core and Ambulatory – Cancer Services under the Evaluation & Quality Improvement Program (“EQuIP7”) by ACHS International.

Other facilities include a 24-hour Emergency Department (“ED”), cardiac and vascular catheterisation labs, and an International Patient Centre. Since its establishment in 2008, THKD has continuously broken new ground in healthcare and medicine, earning numerous awards for its commitment to excellence.
